Track Camps

Durango High School (DHS) is hosting a youth Track and Field camp in June 2017.  The camp is sponsored by COHIPAC. The camp is a week-long, multi-age level program
that provides the opportunity for learning and advancement in all disciplines of Track & Field. The program is for athletes of all ages, from Grades 1 - 8. The camps will be broken down by age group, skill level, and event  (sprinting, distance, throwing & jumping).

Held at Durango High School's track and training facilities in the summer months, our camp harnesses the expertise of
experienced and highly successful local coaches and the local terrain and natural opportunities.

We will teach you the proper technique, introduce you to strength training, yoga, pliometrics, proper nutrition, and let you run with some of Durango High School's "famous" athletes.

The camp is directed by Durango HS Head T&F coach, Coach David (Mac) McMillan, a collegiate All American in track and a sub-4 minute miler. All pre-registered campers are guaranteed to receive a camp t-shirt.
